Published on Feb 4, 2025

Ashland Community and Technical College was recently awarded a $20,000 grant from the King’s Daughters and Sons Foundation of Kentucky, Inc.

The grant will fund nursing scholarships to 10 students in ACTC’s Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program, covering two semesters per student.

The duration of the grant is from Dec. 15, 2024 through Nov. 16, 2025.

“We are incredibly grateful to receive this generous grant for ACTC nursing students,” said Kim Minnehan, ACTC Advancement Office. “This support not only enhances the educational experience but also helps ensure the students are well-equipped to provide exceptional nursing care.  We look forward to the lasting positive effects this grant will have on our students and the communities they will serve.”

Scholarships are open to nursing students in the ADN program who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Eligible students can contact as_foundation@kctcs.edu for information about applying for scholarships for the spring and fall 2025 semesters.
