
ACTC’s Workforce Solutions Expo unites talent, training, and opportunity

ASHLAND, Ky. – Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) successfully hosted its Workforce Solutions Expo on Monday, June 23, at the Roberts Drive Campus, bringing together job seekers, employers, and community resource providers for a powerful day of networking, discovery, and opportunity.
The event provided attendees with firsthand access to a wide array of workforce and career development resources.
ACTC’s Workforce Solutions team was on hand to share information about short-term programs, custom training opportunities for employers, and services available through the college’s Assessment Center.
The Expo also welcomed a strong lineup of community partners, including: Today’s Youth, Northeast Kentucky Career Center, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, ACTC Career Services, Kentucky Career Center, and Pathways.
“These events are about more than just jobs—they’re about creating connections that help our entire region thrive,” said Robin Harris, ACTC’s executive director of Workforce Solutions. “We’re proud to serve as a hub for workforce growth and to support everyone from first-time job seekers to seasoned employers.”
From one-on-one conversations with organizations to insight on training programs and career pathways, the Expo empowered participants to explore what’s next in their professional journey.
