From the classroom to the career: ACTC students are "Going Pro"

Published on May 2, 2024

Ashland Community and Technical College is proud to recognize students and upcoming graduates who are “Going Pro” and beginning their professional careers.

As part of celebrating Community College Month, a signing ceremony was held at the end of April to celebrate the future careers of our students who pledged their commitment to serve in the Healthcare and Industrial Maintenance fields.

"This spring's Going Pro event afforded us the opportunity to celebrate with our upcoming graduating students as they enter the workforce,” said Ashley Vanderpool, ACTC Career Services Coordinator. “We were honored to have the opportunity to recognize the increasing number of students at ACTC that have obtained employment opportunities prior to their graduation. Their achievements stand as a testament to the caliber of our students, the excellence of our programs, and the ongoing support provided by our career development resources here at ACTC."
