The women only event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Bellefonte Country Club, 208 Country Club Drive, Ashland.

Tickets are $55 per person and include hors d’oeuvres and access to a silent auction featuring jewelry, purses and more.

“We are excited to celebrate the sixth annual Women, Wine, Jewels and More event, a special evening designed exclusively for women to support scholarships at Ashland Community and Technical College” said Kim Minnehan, accountant for ACTC’s Resource Development Office and the Community & Technical College Foundation. “Over the years, this event has brought together a vibrant community of women to enjoy great wine, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and fun activities such as our silent auction, all while raising funds for The Norma Meek Community Women’s Scholarship.”

To date, the event has raised more than $112,000 for the scholarship endowment, which has made a significant impact on women in the community.

This year’s hostesses include Mayola Boykin, Elisabeth Camp, Holly Canfield, Amanda Clark, Brandy Clark, Terri Branham-Clark, Lori Cooksey, Cheri Daniel, Missy Fannin, Sheila Fraley, Francie Graese, Donna Jones, Julie Klein, Ashley Layman, Jane Layman, Alice Martin, Kim McCann, Willie McCullough, Leslee McLeod, Ann Perkins, April Perry, Samantha Prince, Brooke Elswick-Robinson, Louise Shytle, Kerry Tague, Mae Deane Torgrimson, and Heather Vanderen.

Men can become a “Jewel of a Guy” by sponsoring the event with $100, businesses can become a “Gem of a Business” by sponsoring the event with $250. Women can also sponsor the event as a “Diamond of a Lady” by sponsoring the event for $100, or $150, which includes a ticket.
