11th annual golf scramble at ACTC a success

Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) held its eleventh annual golf scramble at Bellefonte Country Club on Oct. 25.
This event continues to be one of ACTC’s most successful fundraising events for student scholarships.
“We are thrilled with the success of our 11th annual golf scramble,” said Kim Minnehan, accountant for ACTC’s Resource Development Office and the Community & Technical Foundation of Ashland, Inc. “This event wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors and participants. We deeply appreciate their continued commitment to our Foundation. A big thank you also goes to the Bellefonte Country Club, their staff, and our dedicated faculty, staff and student volunteers, who helped make the day both fun and competitive.”
With 16 teams participating in this year’s golf scramble, the event raised a total of $23,000.
Clark’s Pump-N-Shop team placed first, and second place went to the Bryan Warner Agency team.
