ACTC connecting students to local employers at Fall 2024 Technical and Professional Career Fair

Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) proudly hosted its Technical and Professional Career Fair on Thursday, October 10, at the Technology Drive Campus.
This event aims to open doors for students looking for prospective job opportunities in the community and showcases a network of local employers eager to find skilled employees.
“The Fall 2024 Career Fair at our Technology Drive Campus was a great success marked by higher student engagement and the addition of several new organizations,” shared Ashley Vanderpool, Career Services Coordinator at ACTC. “As the event continues to grow, the overwhelmingly positive feedback from both students and employers highlights its increasing value and impact.”
With a record turnout, the career fair welcomed 198 students and alumni to campus, along with 35 employers represented by 70 professionals. The range of employers present highlighted the existing demand for skilled workers in the area.
The fair provided students with invaluable opportunities to network, explore career options, and gain insights into the skills needed in today’s technical and professional fields.
