Dr. Bruce Shaffer, Mike Hobbs, and Kentucky Power recognized at ACTC Foundation Philanthropy Breakfast
The Ashland Community and Technical College Foundation hosted their annual Celebration of Philanthropy last month on November 17.
“The 2023 Philanthropy breakfast gathering was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate how important the donors in our community are to us. Their generosity helps our students reach their educational and life goals,” said Brooke Seasor, ACTC Director of Resource Development.
The Celebration of Philanthropy breakfast not only presents an opportunity to honor and thank individuals for their support, but it gives them the chance to hear firsthand from the students as well.
Open remarks were provided by Brooke Seasor, followed by two student speakers, Kacee Alexander and Scott Davis who shared about how their time at ACTC has impacted their lives.
“This year we recognized two board members, Mike Hobbs and Dr. Bruce Shaffer for their many years of support and service. We also thanked one of our corporate sponsors, Kentucky Power for their dedication and partnership with ACTC,” Seasor concluded.
