ACTC and Ashland Alliance host Technical and Professional Career Fair

Ashland Community and Technical College hosted its fall Technical and Professional Career Fair in partnership with Ashland Alliance last Thursday, October 26. 

 

In attendance were 66 representatives from 36 different employers, giving 167 students and alumni in attendance a wide variety of business and industry partners to meet with to discuss employment opportunities. 

 

“The Fall 2023 Technical and Professional Career Fair reflects the continuing growth of ACTC’s partnership with local and regional employers,” said Ashley Vanderpool, ACTC Career Services Director. “With the support of our program coordinators, instructors, and staff, our students gained the opportunity to connect and network with various employers to learn more about employment and work-based learning opportunities.” 

 

She added, “We have seen an uptick in student participation and engagement due to expanding career services on campus and relaunching our existing Post-Secondary Work Ready Certification program.”

A second Career Fair for Health Sciences and Health Professions will be held Monday, November 6 at ACTC’s College Drive Campus from 12-2pm.
