Registration for summer classes is open

ASHLAND, Ky. – It’s time to apply for summer classes at Ashland Community and Technical College. ACTC offers three choices for summer classes: a full summer term from May 16 to July 24, Summer Session I from May 16 to June 19, and Summer Session II from June 21 to July 25.

Summer sessions offer advantages to new and continuing students alike. New students can get a head start on fall, continuing students can complete their college program in a shorter time and working adults can take classes for job advancement.

Most summer classes are three credit hours, and many are offered in the general education subjects that are required for the completion of associates degrees. Students enrolled in technical programs should check with their advisors to see the availability of summer classes within their programs. 

May 2 is the application deadline for both Summer I and the Full Summer term, and June 7 is the application deadline for Summer II. Financial aid is available for students who qualify for summer aid. Should you have any questions about eligibility for summer financial aid please call 855-2GO-ACTC. After filling out the ACTC admissions form, new students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available online at https://studentaid.gov/
