Career Services to open second office

ASHLAND, Ky. – The Career Services department of Ashland Community and Technical College is excited to announce the upcoming opening of a second location to better serve ACTC students and alumni. 

Beginning March 23, there will be a Career Services office on College Drive Campus open each Wednesday to assist students or alumni with resumes, mock interviews, or other employability support.

“Career Services is looking forward to expanding our services to include this new location,” said Ashley Vanderpool, Director of Career Services. “Our department is fully staffed with a team of dedicated professionals to assist students in all aspects of their career development.”

Located in the Learning Resources Center (LRC), the office will be in room 266 and open from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. each Wednesday, no appointment necessary. 

“Although services provided by our department have always been available to all ACTC students, the location will offer a new convenience for students completing courses at College Drive Campus,” Vanderpool said. “These students will now have access to a variety of services including career exploration, resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation skills, soft skills development, internship opportunities, Work Ready Certification Program applications, and information about Handshake, our new career management platform.”

The hours of the Technology Drive location will not change.
