A Holiday Message from Dr. Larry Ferguson

Dear friends of Ashland Community and Technical College,

It is hard to believe another holiday season is upon us. On behalf of our ACTC family, I would like to wish you and yours a happy holiday.

We have many things to celebrate at ACTC. In the last year, we have had opportunities to hold events on campus, including Party on the Lawn, job fairs for our students and alumni, a stand-up comedy show, a program fair for high school students and much more. Two years ago, that was something that we took for granted, but now, it’s something that we can appreciate.

Just last month, the college received a $25,000 endowment from the Rotary Club of Ashland, thanks to a donation from Ron and Diane Cartee. We are very appreciative of the Rotary and the Cartees for their generosity and commitment to our students.

Our Foundation also raised $19,754.60 on Giving Tuesday, and we are so thankful to all our donors for your continued support.

During this season of celebration, ACTC has much to be thankful for. We are looking forward to what 2022 has to offer and will continue to work hard to provide a quality education for the students of our region.
