Terry Fyffe

Terry R. Fyffe, a distinguished CPA and ABV, brings an expansive and esteemed history in business administration and accounting to his role as a board member. Graduating with an Associate Degree in Accounting from Ashland Community College in 1975, Terry went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting from Morehead State University in 1977. Soon after, he was recognized as a Certified Public Accountant by the AICPA in 1980.

Terry's professional journey is highlighted by his leadership as the Managing Shareholder of The Fyffe Jones Group since 1984, with offices spread across Huntington, West Virginia; Ashland, Kentucky; and Portsmouth, Ohio. His tenure prior to this role saw him as a Manager at Kelley, Galloway & Company from 1977 to 1983.

Well-versed in the intricacies of business valuation, Terry has been accredited in the field since 1998. He has also showcased his expertise in the courtroom, testifying as an expert witness on numerous occasions since 1980. Terry's commitment to lifelong learning is evident, having accumulated over 440 hours of CPE at various AICPA Conferences.

His professional affiliations are both diverse and esteemed. They range from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Business Appraisers to the Huntington Estate Planning Council. Beyond his direct professional contributions, Terry has served as a board member and treasurer for multiple esteemed institutions, including Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital Foundation Board, Community College of Ashland Foundation Board, and the Heritage, Arts, Science & Tourism Center, among others.

As an educator, Terry has imparted knowledge through seminars and speeches for numerous associations, most notably the Kentucky Bar Association and the Lawrence County Ohio Bar Association.

On the personal front, Terry has been a steadfast resident of Lloyd, Kentucky, since 1977. He is blessed with a close-knit family, being married to Susan Keibler Fyffe and the proud father of four. Their family joy extends to two grandsons. Deeply rooted in his community, Terry also serves as a Trustee and Adult Sunday School Teacher at the Plum Grove Baptist Church.

Terry's accomplishments, combined with his commitment to both his profession and community, make him an invaluable asset to the Foundation Board.
