Pam Potter

Pam Potter is the founder of the Potter Law Firm, an estate planning and elder law firm with offices in Ashland and Florence, Kentucky. She earned both her undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Kentucky. She is a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She has served as chair of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Probate and Trust Law Section and served on the KBA committee that formed the Elder Law Section.
Pam places an emphasis on giving back to the community that has been so good to her. She served on the Advisory Board of Ashland Community College during the period that it merged with the Technical College to become Ashland Community and Technical College. During her period of service on the Advisory Board of the College, the Community and Technical College Foundation of Ashland was formed. She has served on the Foundation Board for many years.
Pam is also a past President of the Kentucky Medical Association Auxiliary, Community Kitchen, and Neighbors Helping Neighbors. She assisted in forming the Old Lady of Bellefonte Auxiliary, Partners in Pride, and the Ashland chapter of Habitat for Humanity. In the past, she has served on the Boards of the Foundation for the Tri-State Community, the Highlands Museum and Discovery Center, and First Presbyterian Church of Ashland, Kentucky.
Pam is married to Roger Potter, a graduate of Ashland Community College, and a retired physician. They have three sons and four grandchildren who are quite extraordinary (not that she likes to brag about them).
