Michael has resided in the Ashland community for over 37 years and is a lifelong resident
of Kentucky. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Murray State University,
and his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville. In addition, has earned the
professional designations of Certified Financial Planner and Certified Public Accountant.
His law practice is concentrated in the area of estate planning, and he is associated
with a registered investment advisor group as an independent Financial Advisor.
In addition to serving on the Board of Community and Technical College Foundation
of Ashland, Inc., Michael is actively involved on the Boards and committees of many
other civic and non-profit organizations in the area including the Paramount Arts
Center, Inc., United Way of Northeast Kentucky, and Foundation for the Tri-State Communities,
Inc.
