The student must have a plan of study on fin in the academic Affairs office.

A combination of general education and technical Courses should not exceed 68 credits

Credit earned through certificate and diploma program/completion will be applicable toward the Associate of Applied
Science in General Occupational/Technical Studies degree when consistent with the objectives of the student’s individual plan
of study.

1A minimum of 19 credit hours of Technical Electives are required for the diploma.

2Choose one 3 hour general education course from the following areas:

  • Area 1 (written communication, oral communications or humanities/heritage). Please see your advisor for a list of approved
    courses.

3Computer/Digital literacy must be demonstrated either by competency exam or by completing a computer/digital literacy
course.

To progress in the program a grade of “C” or better is required in each technical and mathematics course with maintenance of
a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
