WHAT IS PRE-ENGINEERING?
The Pre-Engineering curriculum is for students who wish to complete an associate degree for transfer to baccalaureate degree engineering programs at area universities. Initial targeted areas include civil, chemical, and mechanical engineering although core courses are compatible with other engineering programs.
What are my career options?
Student graduating from the Pre-Engineering program typically transfer to Engineering programs at the University of Kentucky, Marshall University, Ohio University, Morehead State University, Shawnee State University, and other universities.

Length of Program
Students ready for calculus in the first semester can complete this program in two years.
