What is Advanced Nursing Assistant?
The Advanced Nursing Assistant program provides knowledge and skills for nurse aides to assume the role and responsibility required in a variety of health care settings.
Additionally, courses taken in this program may apply towards other health care programs.
What are my career choices?
Students who complete this program will be eligible to work as a Patient Care Technician in local hospitals, home health agencies, hospice, and many other health care facilities.

Length of Program
A student entering the program without any prior college credit should be able to finish the program in two semesters. The NAA 115 class by itself is an 8-week course. However, there are also general education requirements to receive the certification, as well as the pre-requisite NAA 100.
Program Location
This course is currently only offered at ACTC’s Roberts Drive Campus. NAA 100 and the general education requirements are offered at other ACTC campuses, but the NAA 115 is only offered at the Roberts Drive Campus.
