Nursing Curriculum
Year One
Prerequisites
- AA or AS Quantitative Reasoning - 3 Credit Hours
- BIO 137 Human Anatomy and Physiology - 4 Credit Hours
- PSY 110 General Psychology - 3 Credit Hours
- Documentation of 75 hour Nurse Aide Training or Equivalent - 0-3 Credit Hours
- Taken the State Registry Nurse Aid examination
- Healthcare Provider CPR - 0-1 Credit Hours
- Total Hours - 10-14 Credit Hours
* IF ADMITTED INTO THE NURSING PROGRAM, documentation of successful completion of a minimum 75-hour nursing assistant course or its equivalent (i.e. completion of nursing fundamentals in another RN program or LPN licensure) is required prior to enrolling in the first nursing course. If the N.A.A. course was completed greater than 2 years prior to admission, it will not meet the requirement unless the applicant is listed on the state registry.
First Semester
