I applied online, but I haven't heard anything. Have I been accepted to the college?

You should have received an automatic response telling you your admission application had been submitted. If you did not receive this response, the application may not have processed. To find out if your application was received call 606-326-2413.

I have applied to the college. What is my next step for enrollment?

Once we have processed your admission application, you will receive letter notifying you of your next steps.

I want to enroll. What do I need to do?

Complete an admission application, which can be done online, free of charge. After applying, you will receive a letter notifying you of your next steps.

How do I sign up for orientation?

After you have received your letter from the admissions office, you may call 606-326-2040 to schedule an orientation.

How do I get proof of enrollment for my insurance?

Go to your Student Self-Service and choose the Student Center. Then look for the Order Transcript/Verify Enrollment link, in the bottom right corner. If you have trouble, you may come in to the admissions office at College or Technology Drive with a photo ID, and we will be happy to assist you.

Have you received my transcript(s) yet?

Please call our Office of Student Records at 606-326-2035. This information can also be viewed via your Student Self-Service account.

Will you send me information about your college?

How do I get reinstated?

How do I get my student ID number, username, and password?

Come into the admissions office at College or Technology Drive with a photo ID and we will help you set up your User Account.

What are your office hours?

College Drive Campus: Monday Through Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
Technology Drive Campus: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

How do I set up my student e-mail?

You can set up your e-mail account online via the User Account Center. Otherwise visit the admissions office at College or Technology with a photo ID and we will help you set up your e-mail account. Student e-mail setup is also a part of your student orientation

How do I reset my e-mail password?

You can reset your password online via the User Account Center.

When does the next semester start?

Please refer to our academic calendars.

When can I start classes/when do classes start?

Our application deadline is usually two weeks before the start of classes. However, current students may enroll through the first three days of classes. Please refer to the academic calendar for the upcoming semester to find that semester's start date and the last day to add a class.

Can I attend college while still in high school?

Yes, with your high school counselors recommendation. To speak to an advisor call 606-326-2040.

Where can I find forms for transcript request, drop/add, residency status review, etc?

What is the Office of Admission's Mission Statement?

Admissions and Records at Ashland Community and Technical College will maintain all student data in a secure, accurate and current form, making the information accessible in a timely and responsible manner to all who may require ir- students, both current and former, garduates, faculty, and other units with the college, other educational institutions and KCTCS. In doing so the unit will assist ACTC in remaining at the forefront of meeting a rapidly changing educational and workforce environment while helping enhance community, econmoic, and cultural development. FERPA shall be strictly followed in the storage, maintenance, and sharing of all student records.
