"In high school I had taken several CADD classes and wanted to work in the drafting field. I wanted to stay near my son, and ACTC is close to home, it's affordable and it makes me feel like a person rather than just another figure. My professors genuinely care about me and my family, and I am happy to come to class every day. The environment here isn't too big and there always seems to be something going on, like programs or activities to help others, such as blood drives I would like to get a degree at ACTC and get a feel for the college experience before moving on to a university for a degree in Construction Management."
