How to Participate

Guidelines for students and teachers/parents.

SELECT A PROJECT

  1. Read the Rules that govern project content, display set up and participant requirements. 
  2. Select a project category
  3. Review the check sheets for adult sponsors and students for helpful project design suggestions. 
  4. See the judging sheet and clarification of terms for help in determining project content and display methods.

ENTER THE PROJECT

  1. Get a rules booklet and complete one entry form for each project. Projects may be individual or team, with up to three students in a team. The entry form on the back cover may be copied to use for each project. 
  2. Fill out one Approval Form for each student participating in that project. Approval forms are also available on the web at: http://www.societyforscience.org/page.aspx?pid=517
  3. Send the entry and approval forms to:
