Pre-registration and registration opportunities are announced throughout the college. Students and prospective students may register for classes according to their status and particular requirements. New students register through the orientation process. Continuing and returning/transfer students register according to announced days and times. Methods of registration include:
New (continuing) and returning/transfer students must meet all records requirements to qualify for registration. New, returning and transfer students have one semester of attendance to provide all required materials. No further registration will be permitted until all required materials are received.
All registered students are responsible for being aware of the academic calendar[JS1] , posted on the ACTC website and available on the student’s self-service schedule of classes. All deadlines for registration, payment, withdrawing and end of term are listed on the academic calendar.
REMINDER: You must officially withdraw by the dates listed in the academic calendar. Once you enroll you become financially obligated, even if you never attend a class. Failure to officially withdraw according to the academic calendar will result in a financial debt and a failing grade.
