IT Online

A Fully Online IT Degree

The Information Technology (IT) degree offered at Ashland Community and Technical College is now delivered online; in other words, you do not attend classes at a physical location. Class material is delivered via the Internet which allows students to complete course work from their home, keep their jobs and spend more time with their families. All Computer Information Systems (CIS) and several IT Classes are taught in 8-week bi-term modules. This means you can normally complete several IT courses in a semester (Please see suggested course check sheet). This - along with your general education classes - will allow you to complete Associate degree in IT in four semesters. Learning in this manner can be quite different from that of a traditional classroom! While taking classes online allows students a great deal of freedom, it also means that IT students have to be self-starters and good managers of their time. This program is ideal for working adults.
