This program prepares students for employment in the field of industrial maintenance. Trained and motivated individuals are sought by industry to diagnose and repair faulty equipment and keep production equipment running efficiently.
Students are trained to hold positions in factories, hospitals, and hotels where multi-skilled maintenance personnel are needed.
There are no special admission requirements for this program. However, students who require remedial course work in reading, writing, or math to qualify them to enroll in General Education courses will require additional time to finish the program.
To obtain a diploma or an associate degree requires two years (four semesters) of full time status. Certificates can be obtained in a shorter period of time and are given to students who qualify and leave the program early.
