October 1 is the enrollment deadline for ACTC’s fall bi-term credit classes. Bi-term classes are eight-weeks long, half the length of traditional semester classes. They offer new students the opportunity to start classes now, without waiting for spring semester.
Students can take up to seven credit hours of classes in general education subjects appropriate for most new students. These classes in communications/English, humanities, social science, science, math and computers are required for nearly every college degree.
The bi-term schedule and calendar are online at: ashland.kctcs.edu/bi-term. For additional information, call 606-326-2040 or 606-326-2228.
New students must complete the application process, including orientation and placement testing, Admissions forms and information are online at: ashland.kctcs.edu/admissions.
New students may be eligible for financial aid and can apply by filling out the 2012-13 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov . After completing the FSFSA, students should call the ACTC Office of Financial Aid, 606-326-2198, for an appointment to complete the financial aid file.
