Singer Joshua M. Jannotta will perform Tuesday, Dec. 4, and Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m. at the ACTC Technology Drive Campus. He will present background information and short demonstrations of the different styles of vocal music of America.
Janotta studied Vocal Performance at West Virginia University and then went on to work for many equity and non-equity regional theatres including Pittsburgh C.L.O., West Virginia Public Theatre, Virginia Stage Company and Theatre West Virginia.
He was in the National Tour of Hello Dolly and has appeared in Off-Broadway productions and the Mobile Opera in Mobile, AL. An Ironton resident, he is now the Assistant Director of Education at The Paramount Arts Center and Assistant Artistic Director of the Paramount Players.
Presented as part of the Smithsonian New Harmonies Exhibit “Celebrating American Roots Music,” these free performances are offered in cooperation with the Paramount Arts Center.
