Many people incorrectly assume that Disability Services is only for people with physical health concerns. However, the Office of Disability Services works to ensure that students with disabilities of any nature; physical, mental health, and/or learning disabilities receive the services they need to have the best educational experience while attending ACTC. Working with the Office of Disability Services is completely voluntary, so no student is required to do so. However, if students think they may need assistance, they must make contact with the office, since the college has no other way of knowing about students’ disabilities and their individual needs.
If you feel that you may need assistance through Disability Services contact Heather Shelton, Manager of Disability Services, at (606)326-2051, by e-mail at email@example.com or stop by the primary Disability Service office in Room 220 of the main building on the CDC campus .
