Learning Assistance Center 2010

The use of computers and the internet is essential to success at ACTC; both are used in most courses offered here at ACTC. Students have access to computers for school use on all campuses at ACTC.

Computer Availability

  • The Learning Assistance Center (L.A.C.) is located in room G108 of the College Drive Goodpastor Building.
  • Computers are available for student use in the College Drive Library
  • Student use labs are also located on the Technology Drive Campuses.

You may choose to bring your personal laptop.  Both the College Drive Campus and The Technology Drive Campus provide wireless access. 


Lab Use Policy

  • Do not disclose or share your passwords with others, nor impersonate another user.
  • Cell phones must be turned off or put on vibrate.
  • Use of equipment for academic purposes always takes precedence over any other use.
  • Adults must accompany children under 14 years of age.
  • No food or drinks at the workstation.
  • Do not print more than 10 sheets per day.
  • Do to not attempt to alter software configurations, modify, abuse or destroy the computer system in any way.
  • You may not use the workstations to transmit offensive or harassing messages.
  • Equipment must not be used for commercial or for-profit purposes.
